The Glenlivet Dubai Duty Free pop-up has opened at Dubai International Airport, Departures Concourse A West, and it has brought its full travel retail line-up with it, from the exclusive Cask Master’s Collection to a 40 Year Old and the last surviving bottle of a 2018 Dubai Duty Free exclusive.
Built with Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail and Dubai Duty Free, the open-sided stand is dressed head to toe in The Glenlivet’s signature teal, a nod to the River Livet whose waters feed the distillery. At its centre is a Discovery and Tasting Station, where a short sensory exercise reads your flavour preferences and points you to the expression most likely to suit them before you taste.
The travel retail exclusive Cask Master’s Collection takes centre stage
The headline range is the Cask Master’s Collection, the travel retail exclusive trio launched in October 2025 as the first collection curated by Cask Master Kevin Balmforth, who took the reins after Sandy Hyslop’s retirement. Each of the three ages is built around a different cask approach, and the 19 Year Old marks the brand’s first use of a Scottish oak finish.
| Expression | ABV | Cask | Size | Travel retail RRP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 14 Year Old | 40% | American and European oak | 1 litre | US$85 / £65 |
| 16 Year Old | 43% | 100% American oak | 1 litre | US$120 / £89 |
| 19 Year Old | 48% | American and European oak, Scottish oak finish | 70cl | US$140 / £105 |
The brand’s official notes run from baked apple and citrus zest on the 14 Year Old, to creamy toffee and ripe plum on the 16, to stewed apples and blackcurrant spice on the Scottish-oak-finished 19. A full tasting is a piece for another day.

The bottles worth flying for
Beyond the core trio, the stand leans into rarity. The Middle East and India regional exclusive 12 Year Old Rum Cask sits alongside the 21 and 25 Year Old, and the limited-edition 40 Year Old released in 2024 for the distillery’s 200th anniversary.

Dates, price and the prize
Every purchase at the pop-up enters the buyer into a draw to win a trip to the distillery in Speyside, where the winner gets to blend and bottle a whisky that is theirs alone. At the stand, the 19 Year Old was showing at around AED 518 (about US$143), in line with its travel retail RRP.
If Dubai is not on your route before 31 October, the Cask Master’s Collection is sold worldwide through travel retail, so the 14, 16 and 19 Year Old are available at duty free boutiques elsewhere. But the 35 Year Old, the 40 Year Old and the tasting station itself are the reason to make the detour if you do have a layover in Terminal 3.
